Which Insurance carriers do you accept?

The Nutrition Attaché currently accepts Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Anthem and BCBS lines, CarePartners CT, Humana and Medicare (2024). For out of network visits, a Superbill can be provided to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

If I don't have insurance Can I still see you?

Yes. The Nutrition Attaché has several Private Pay packages designed to meets each patient’s needs. A minimum of 4 appointments is required which includes an Initial Intake and 3 follow-up appointments. Please contact the office at 212-589-8902 to discuss Private Pay Concierge packages.

Can Meet with the Nutrition Attaché in person?

In-person appointments are available at two office locations in Lower Fairfield County Connecticut. Both insurance visits and private pay visits have in-person and virtual options. All software is HIPAA compliant.

Do You Coordinate Care with my current Doctor?

Yes. If you were referred to Kerry by a Physician, she will inform them we are working together on your health and lifestyle goals. Additionally, referrals to Higher Levels of Care specialists such as GI doctors or mental health care professional are provided with care coordination in mind.

Do Virtual/TeleHealth appointments require a specific type of technology?

Virtual/TeleHealth appointments are conducted via the HIPAA-compliant videoconferencing tools on Kerry’s EMR, Practice Better. This user-friendly platform allows clients to share their medical records, health-related documents, food/lifestyle journals in a secure manner.

The Nutrition Attaché collaborates with many types of care specialists including MDs, DOs, DCs and APRNs to help clients implement evidence-based nutrition & lifestyle solutions. The Nutrition Attaché adheres to a strict scope of practice and is eager to refer a client to a specialist or higher level of care when appropriate.Open lines of communication between other clinicians and The Nutrition Attaché ensure that nutrition and lifestyle plans are implemented safely. Clients benefit when their healthcare team consists of clinicians who are experts in their respective fields.
